Manila rope is used extensively in marine, agriculture, trucking, consstruction, and petroleum exploration industries. It is a good all-purpose rope, but can lose strength rapidly if not stored and handled properly. Manila rope has low stretch properties and good abrasion resistance. It, however, has poor chemical resistance and will rot if not stored properly.
